The 900 Series Level Monitor is used to remotely monitor water levels in canals, laterals, rivers, and streams for SCADA type gate or valve control systems. The Level Monitor is a radio telemetry monitoring system to measure and transmit the water level or flow from a remote metering site.

A Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) provides the SCADA master station with remote monitoring and control capabilities by transmitting and receiving over commonly available communications media – 2-wire circuits, dedicated phone lines, DSL, radio, wireless, etc. Licensed radios in the VHF, UHF, and 900 MHz bands are
utilized as well as non-licensed spread spectrum and Ethernet radios.
